Staff Master Maintenance ‑ Search Staff screen

 

The Search Staff screen allows the user to search for users belonging to his customer and user related information in the SeaSupplier system. 

 

Invoking the screen

 

To go to the Search Staff screen, click Staff on the Main menu and select the Staff option.

To search for all Users

 

Select the user status from the Status dropdown.  If you click the Search button on the screen when the Status dropdown shows ‘All’, you will fetch information on all the users belonging to the customer id of logged in user in the system. The search results are populated in the grid.

 

Information on all the user belonging to the customer id of logged in user in the system is displayed when the Search Staff screen is opened as the Status dropdown shows ‘All’ by default.

 

To search by specific Status

 

Select the user status from the Status dropdown.  The options in this dropdown other than ‘All’ are ‘Active’, ‘Inactive’ and ‘Deletion Pending’ . Clicking the Search button on the screen after selecting one of these options will fetch information on users with corresponding status in the system. 

 

To search by User ID

 

Enter the user id in the User ID textbox.  The maximum length allowed for the field is 10. Click the Search button to fetch records for the corresponding user id in the system.

 

To search by User Name

 

Enter the user name in the User Name textbox. The maximum length allowed for the field is 30. Click the Search button to fetch records for the corresponding user name in the system.

 

To Sort information in the grid

 

You can sort information in the grid by clicking any of the column headers.  For example, if you click User Name column header, you will sort all the records by user name.

 

To initiate a New Search

 

Click the Clear button to clear the screen. All the fields will display their default values. You can now start a new search by the same process again.

 

 

 

To add a user

 

If you need to add a new user to the system click the Add button on this screen itself.  This invokes the Add/Edit Staff Screen where you can add information

 

To edit information about a user

 

If you need to edit information displayed in any of the rows in the grid below, click the Edit button at the right hand end of the row.  This invokes the Add/Edit Staff Screen where you can edit the information for the selected row.

 

 

To reset password of a User

 

If you need to reset the password of a user displayed in any of the rows in the grid below, click the Reset button at the right hand end of the row. For users marked as deletion pending no reset password button is available.
